Since 1928 the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been producing the world’s largest annual outdoor Easter pageant. The Mesa Arizona Easter Pageant "Jesus the Christ" presents Christ’s life, ministry, and mission through music, dance, and drama. It takes place on a large stage that is approximately four-stories high. There are both English and Spanish performances, each lasting about one hour.
