For my eighth birthday, my parents took me to Matta's for dinner. The Mariachis sang Happy Birthday to me and they also sang La Cucaracha. LOVED it!

When my middle daughter turned eight years old she requested that we go to Matta's for her birthday dinner. The Mariachis sang to her Happy Birthday and La Cucaracha.  Fun memories!

Riverview Fountains... FREE fun for the kids!

This morning I took my daughter to play in the Riverview fountains.  She had a blast!  She got to cool down, play with other children, and best of all she burned some energy... great morning!  The fountains are located right in front of the Cinemark movie theater.  The great thing about Riverview is that it is NEVER crowded...at least not when we have been there.  Last weekend we saw Toy Story 3 at the Cinemark and it wasn't crowded at all... pretty great for a new release like Toy Story 3.  By the way, it was a great movie!  ...we laughed, we cried... it was GREAT! ... the kids liked it too :D
