Mesa's Downtown Preacher "Dizzy" Dies
Many of All About Mesa Az's readers have informed us of the passing of Dizzy. Anyone that has lived in Mesa for any length of time knows Dizzy. He was the street preacher that stood, walked, and road his bike on Main Street near Stapley. Dizzy will be missed by many.

I knew the many for about 20 or more years and there was just nothing bad anyone could say about him. He alway gave of his heart cared nothing of worldy posessions or what are differences are just are similarities. He was a man in the true sense of the word. One back in 193 I fell off my bicycle and broke my wrist. I was in a cast for four months. Every two weeks I went back and had a new cast placed and x-rays performed the doctors kept telling me that it wasn't healing and they were likely going to have to perform surgery. The surgery was going to be scheduled in a month if no improvement was made on the nexy visit. I saw dizzy and I told him about it and that I didn't want surgey and he said lets try praying. So we did and he said to god please no surgery.The next time I went to see the doctor she had the cast cut off and more x-rays done. She looked at the films and said "well this looks much better" I think your going to be just fine. True story!
